Statement adopted in Tehran following meeting in 3+3 format

Following the talks in the 3+3 format in Tehran, the foreign ministers emphasized the importance of resolving conflicts peacefully and agreed on the next meeting in Türkiye, Report informs referring to their joint statement published on the website of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

“Taking into account the importance of developing friendly relations between countries based on mutual interests and good neighborliness, the ministers noted the importance of peaceful resolution of conflicts,” reads the statement.

It notes that the ministers discussed a number of international topics, including the situation in the Gaza Strip.

“They agreed that the next meeting will be held in Türkiye, the date will be agreed upon through diplomatic channels,” the statement said.

The statement was published on behalf of the foreign ministers of Iran, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia and Türkiye. Another participant in the 3+3 format, Georgia, previously announced that it was refusing to participate in the meeting in Iran.
