There is constructive and effective cooperation between media outlets of Azerbaijan and Ukraine. Partnership between Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) and "Ukrinform" has been developing even more in recent years,” said Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev as he met with Director General of Ukrinform Oleksandr Kharchenko.

Recalling the centuries-old friendly relations between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Ukraine, Seymur Mardaliyev noted that media has a special role in the development of these relations.

"The agency you leads permanently covers Azerbaijan`s rightful position. AZERTAC, in its turn, draws the local and international communities` attention to the events and war reportage in Ukraine. The coverage of the truth about Azerbaijan in the Ukrainian media outlets is one of the priorities of our activity," the diplomat emphasized.

Olexander Kharchenko noted that there were sincere relations and effective cooperation between both countries` news agencies. "Ukrinform" is open to interesting projects and is ready to evaluate the proposed projects, he underlined.

"We are very pleased with the success of Azerbaijan, which is an important partner for Ukraine. I am sure that the cooperation between "Ukrinform" and AZERTAC will make new contributions to the development of relations between two peoples and countries," Kharchenko emphasized.
