On Thursday, July 11, an official reception was held for the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, who is on a state visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, AZERTAC reported.
In honor of the Azerbaijani head of state, a guard of honor was held on the square where the national flags of the two countries were raised.
Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif welcomed President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
First, President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif had their photographs taken.
Then the national anthems of the two states were sung.
Commander of the guard of honour reports to the Azerbaijani head of state.
President Ilham Aliyev inspected the front of the guard of honour.
Pakistani delegation members were introduced to the Azerbaijani President and Azerbaijani delegation members were introduced to the Pakistani Prime Minister.
