Strategic bilateral ties strengthen the role of Azerbaijan and Serbia in the context of the transformation of global politics – EXPERT
“The strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Serbia is acquiring particular significance against the backdrop of the emergence of a multipolar world and the weakening of multilateral institutions in international politics,” Serbian expert Andrej Bojić said in the latest episode of the "Azerbaijan and the World" program broadcast on the AZERTAC website.
According to him, the world is currently experiencing the most significant changes in the international system since the 1990s. The expert noted that these processes are characterized by the emergence of a multipolar structure in global politics and the simultaneous weakening of multilateral mechanisms of international interaction.
He emphasized that multilateralism was originally intended to take into account the interests of both small and large states. In his opinion, when multipolarity is realized through multilateral formats, it contributes to global stability, whereas their absence turns a multipolar world into a source of instability.
The expert noted that this is precisely why bilateral ties between states that share the values of multilateralism are particularly significant. In this context, he highlighted the partnership between Azerbaijan and Serbia as an example of a balanced and peaceful foreign policy based on cooperation and respect for mutual interests.
