An exhibition featuring photographs by the renowned photojournalist Reza Deghati opened at Pantheon Square in the 5th arrondissement of Paris.
Organized by Webistan Photo Agency, Reza Visual Academy, and "Sema" Publishing House, the photo exhibition titled "Valley of Knowledge" included images captured by Deghati in Azerbaijan’s Gobustan and Khinalig.
Reza Deghati expresses the events he has witnessed and experienced through the language of photography, skillfully intertwining poetry with his images to add deeper meaning. One of his Khinalig photos bears the phrase, “Those who do not travel or read slowly die,” while a Gobustan photograph carries the message, “Knowledge is our natural and inseparable heritage.”
Deghati has received numerous international awards for his contributions to photography and humanitarian work. He is the author of 35 books and has earned prestigious honors such as the World Press Photo Award, the Infinity Award from the International Center of Photography, and the Lucy Award. He was also awarded the Honor Medal by the University of Missouri and holds an honorary doctorate from the American University of Paris. In France, he received the Chevalier Medal for National Service.
