The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Morocco, in cooperation with the Agdal Municipality of Rabat, organized an event to promote Azerbaijan among Moroccan youth as part of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty.” The main objective was to raise awareness about Azerbaijan and inform Moroccan youth about the country’s history, culture, and modern development.

As part of the event, a presentation titled “Discover Azerbaijan” was showcased. It provided attendees with detailed insights into Azerbaijan’s rich cultural heritage, natural landscapes, economic achievements, and its growing role on the international stage.

In his speech, Nazim Samadov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Morocco, highlighted the growing friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Morocco. He noted that such initiatives play a significant role in strengthening mutual understanding and cultural ties between the two nations.

The event unfolded in a warm and engaging atmosphere. A lively discussion was held with Moroccan youth, during which their questions about Azerbaijan’s history, culture, and contemporary life were thoroughly addressed. Organizers and participants also discussed future plans for joint cultural and educational projects.

During the event, the book “Alphabet,” published by Nargis magazine, was introduced to the youth. The publication sparked interest among young participants eager to learn more about the Azerbaijani language, culture, and traditions. At the conclusion of the event, copies of the book were presented as gifts to the attendees.

Participants expressed their satisfaction with the knowledge they gained about Azerbaijan and emphasized the importance of continuing such initiatives.
