The night of Azerbaijani cinema was arranged in the Bulgarian capital city of Sofia as part of the 17th MENAR Film Festival.
Organized at the initiative of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Bulgaria, the event featured a film presented with the support of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture, along with a documentary on the 20 January tragedy.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Bulgaria, Huseyn Huseynov, addressed the audience, providing insights into the historical significance of the tragedy.
Dignitaries present at the event included Bulgarian state officials, local socio-political, scientific and cultural figures, representatives of the diplomatic corps, representatives of media and Azerbaijani community.
