The 124th and 125th sessions of the UN Tourism Executive Council held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, approved Azerbaijan's membership in the Executive Council.
The Azerbaijani delegation also participated in the 26th session of the organization's General Assembly.
As part of the General Assembly meeting, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the State Tourism Agency, Fuad Nagiyev, Ana Carla Machado Lopes, Executive Secretary of the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism. During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding on tourism cooperation was signed between Azerbaijan and Brazil.
Fuad Nagiyev then met with the Minister of Economy and Tourism of the United Arab Emirates, Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, to discuss bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism.
