We must approach the issue of preserving the purity of the Azerbaijani language from a practical perspective and seriously reflect on the points where our language is being distorted. Too often, we focus on the consequences rather than the causes and paths leading to those consequences. In fact, broad and extensive discussions should be held around the causes of the violation of Azerbaijani language norms, said Rovshan Mammadov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC, as he addressed the scientific and practical conference titled “Preserving purity of Azerbaijani language in audiovisual media in the context of new challenges.
“National Leader Heydar Aliyev's fluent, clear, and exemplary speeches in his native language should serve as a true model for the youth. His respect and attention to the language remain today as a guiding example for every Azerbaijani citizen,” Mammadov added.
