Azerbaijani, Turkish archeologists ink MoU on cooperation

The Institute of Archeology and Anthropology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and the Institute of Archaeology and Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation.

The document was inked by Farhad Guliyev, Director of the Azerbaijani Institute of Archeology and Anthropology, and Şaban Doğan, Chairman of the Turkish Institute of Archaeology and Cultural Heritage.

During the meeting, Şaban Doğan highlighted the activities of the institution designed to conduct archaeological research outside Türkiye, in the Turkic states, study monuments of great significance to the history of the Turkic peoples, and build partnerships with the archaeological research centers of the Turkic states.
