The ADEX exhibition is held on the initiative and with the organisational support of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defence Industry and support of the Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense. The organizer of the exhibition is the Caspian Event Organisers.

Executive Director of Caspian Event Organisers, Bahruz Hidayatzade, stated that preparations for the exhibition are currently progressing at an active pace.

“ADEX is a major event in the field of defence industry and security in Azerbaijan and the region. Since the early years of the ADEX exhibition, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has visited the event and addressed greeting letters to its participants and guests, which is a testament to the high status of the exhibition and the trust it commands. Over the years, ADEX has not only become a reliable national brand, but has also secured its important place in the exhibition calendars of leading global defence industry companies.

This year, the exhibition’s scale will once again attract particular attention. As preparations continue, almost all halls of the Baku Expo Centre have already been booked by participants. At ADEX, key state institutions of Azerbaijan in the fields of defence and security will be represented with their own stands, showcasing their current production and technological capabilities, as well as their latest developments. In addition to supporting the exhibition, the Ministry of Defense Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan will also present a stand in cooperation with "Azersilah Defense Industry Holding" JSC under its authority. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan will take part in the exhibition with its own stand, presenting its areas of activity and capabilities. The active participation of these institutions underlines the importance of the exhibition and contributes to its successful organisation.

Among the international participants of ADEX are globally recognised companies such as Roketsan, Aselsan Elektronik San. ve Tic. A.Ş., and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) from Türkiye; Leonardo from Italy; Excalibur Army SPOL. S R.O. from the Czech Republic; Edge Group PJSC from the United Arab Emirates; INDRA from Spain; IAI – Israel Aerospace Industries and Plasan from Israel, as well as many other internationally renowned companies.

A number of countries will participate with national pavilions in ADEX. Among them are Belarus, the Czech Republic, Israel, Italy, Türkiye and Slovakia. Several companies will be represented in alternative formats. As in previous years, we expect new countries and companies to join ADEX this year.

Traditionally, ADEX attracts high-profile guests and official delegations from various countries. This year as well, the participation of high-level official delegations is anticipated.

I would also like to note that Securex Caspian will be organised concurrently with ADEX. At this exhibition, the cybersecurity sector will be in the spotlight,” Mr Hidayatzade added.

Due to its scale and content, ADEX stands out as one of the largest events in the region dedicated to weapons and military equipment, serving as an effective platform that reflects the level of development of the defence industry and provides a comprehensive showcase of modern weaponry and advanced technologies. The exhibition will feature aircraft and aviation systems, armoured combat vehicles, naval vessels and maritime systems, unmanned systems, chemical, biological and radiological defence (CBRN), radio-electronic systems, C4ISR, equipment for weapons manufacturing, arms and ammunition, technologies and solutions for weapons disposal, simulators and training systems, as well as many other sectors.

In parallel, an extensive business programme has been prepared for ADEX. Within the framework of the event, panel discussions covering topical industry issues and numerous business meetings will be held. Bilateral meetings will be organised between representatives of relevant Azerbaijani authorities and exhibition participants, as well as between members of international delegations and exhibitors.

With the participation of high-level official representatives, international companies and industry leaders, ADEX will once again become a key venue showcasing the latest innovations and advanced technologies in the defence sector, in the meantime creating broad opportunities for military-technical cooperation and strategic partnerships.
