On December 19, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board (CMB), met with Ali Khalil Mustafa, Charge d'Affaires of Iraq in Azerbaijan.
Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade stressed the importance of maintaining and developing the traditional, religious, and spiritual relations between the two countries’ peoples.
The CMB Chairman highlighted his participation in the 11th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as well as meetings with the renowned Iraqi religious scholars.
The Iraqi diplomat commended the CMB Chairman’s efforts to boost the religious and spiritual relations between the two countries.
