Sabina Aliyeva, Azerbaijan’s Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman), participated in the international workshop on "Effective Ombudsmanship for People’s Livelihood" held in the Chinese city of Nanjing.
In her remarks, Sabina Aliyeva hailed the development of strategic relations between Azerbaijan and China, noting that there are broad opportunities for enhancing cooperation in the field of protection of human rights.
The Ombudsman provided comprehensive information about the activities of the Azerbaijani ombuds institution, including available application mechanisms enabling citizens to apply easily and without obstacles, legal awareness-raising activities, and work for the protection of the rights of the vulnerable population groups.
