The closing ceremony of the 8th Baku-hosted ANIMAFILM International Animation Festival concluded at the Nizami Cinema Center.
Rashid Aghamaliyev, Festival Director and producer, as well as chairman of the Azerbaijan Animation Association, briefed the guests about the event.
Rashad Azizov, Director General of the Cinema Agency of Azerbaijan (ARKA), emphasized the importance of increasing the number of animated films and establishing international partnerships.
The winners were awarded in the following categories:
• Best Short Animated Film – Grand Prix
• Best Azerbaijani Short Animated Film
• Best Student Short Animated Film
• Best Short Animated Film for Children
• Best Short Animated Film About Cats
