“The 12th Global Baku Forum will address topics such as achieving peace, geopolitical shifts, post-conflict reconstruction, and regional stability,” said Eka Tkeshelashvili, former Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia, at a press conference for the Board of Trustees of the 12th Baku Global Forum.
Emphasizing Azerbaijan's strategically important location and global significance, she added: “Azerbaijan not only possesses vast oil and gas resources that have supported Europe over the years but also has abundant renewable energy potential, including wind, solar, and hydro power, positioning it as a potential energy hub.”
“Azerbaijan hosted COP29, making a bold commitment on the world stage and supporting crucial global discussions. At this powerful platform, we will have a session on the path from COP29 to COP30. We will continue addressing critical issues such as climate change and other major global challenges,” she emphasized.
