From June 3 to 5, 2025, Baku Energy Week, the region's most important energy event, will celebrate its 30th anniversary. The main event of Baku Energy Week is the Baku Energy Forum, which will take place on June 4-5. The forum annually brings together key players in the energy sector, leading international experts, investors, and business representatives.

Haitham Al Ghais, Secretary General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), addressed a welcome letter to participants of the Baku Energy Forum 2025. The letter emphasizes that the forum serves as a vital platform for dialogue and cooperation in the global energy sector. “Azerbaijan, a key participant in the Declaration of Cooperation (DoC) between OPEC and non-OPEC producers, has become a global hub for constructive dialogue on critical energy issues. This was evident at COP29 and will undoubtedly be reaffirmed at the 30th Baku Energy Forum, a premier event in the region’s energy calendar,” he stated in his welcome letter.
