A training session was held to promote the topic of cybersecurity for media representatives. The training, attended by nearly sixty participants, took place within the framework of a joint partnership between Bakcell and the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA).
During the first session of a series of planned trainings for the year, media representatives received detailed information on key risks in digital security, defense methods against cybersecurity incidents, and the role of digital media in information security. Additionally, participants engaged in discussions on crucial topics such as the application of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity, data privacy, and the risks of cyber fraud.
“Artificial intelligence and innovations are playing an increasingly significant role in the telecommunications sector, and we consider it essential to help media representatives closely follow these trends. We believe that the training sessions we organize will enhance participants’ knowledge of technological advancements and enable them to cover digital transformations more comprehensively,” said Klaus Mueller, CEO of Bakcell.
Farid Osmanov, Chairman of the Board of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), emphasized the importance of the training, stating: “Media plays a crucial role in fostering openness to innovation and shaping an innovative mindset in society. In recent times, cybersecurity and the protection of the digital ecosystem have become particularly pressing issues. These training sessions not only equip media representatives with digital skills but also prepare them to better address cybersecurity risks. In an increasingly digital world, safeguarding a secure information environment within the media holds strategic importance.”
It should be noted that since 2012, Bakcell has been organizing annual training sessions for media representatives on innovation and technology. This year, for the first time, these events were held on a larger scale in collaboration with IDDA.
Both organizations, maintaining their leadership in the field of innovation in the country, will continue to organize regular training sessions throughout the year. Covering key topics such as artificial intelligence, digitalization, cybersecurity, and innovation, the program will provide participants with practical knowledge to adapt to modern media trends in the era of digital transformation.
