The “black box” from the crashed Embraer 190 passenger plane, operated by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), was recovered near Aktau on December 25. Timur Suleimenov, Chief Transport Prosecutor of Kazakhstan, confirmed the discovery during a briefing in Aktau.
