“The Prosecutor General’s Office has launched a criminal case regarding the emergency landing of an Embraer 190 aircraft, operating flight J2-8243 from Baku to Grozny and belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), which occurred three kilometers from the city of Aktau,” said Kanan Zeynalov, Senior Prosecutor of the Press Service of the Azerbaijan Prosecutor General’s Office, during a press conference on Wednesday.
He noted that the Prosecutor General’s Office is working closely with its Kazakh counterparts.
“The outcomes of the investigation will be made public,” he added.
