“We are extremely delighted that COP29 will be held in a country close to our region. This event is an excellent opportunity for Azerbaijan to demonstrate its leadership in addressing current climate challenges,” Zulfiya Suleimenova, adviser to the President of Kazakhstan, told AZERTAC.
"COP29 is a unique opportunity for our region in terms of conveying to the world community the problems caused by climate change, as well as demonstrating the efforts we are undertaking in this regard. Both of our countries are making substantial efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate change," she added.
