Azerbaijan's amphibious firefighting plane continues battling blazes in Türkiye

In a display of brotherly support, Azerbaijan has dispatched its Be-200ChS amphibious aircraft, operated by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), to aid Türkiye in combating the devastating forest fires that have engulfed the nation.

According to Report, the decision to send the firefighting plane came following the directive of President Ilham Aliyev, who pledged Azerbaijan's unwavering support to its close ally during this challenging time.

According to Report, which cites the MES press service, the Be-200ChS aircraft has been actively participating in fire suppression operations, focusing its efforts on extinguishing the blazes in the Akhisar-Taskuyucak region over the past 24 hours.
