International travelers visit Azerbaijan’s Lachin district

A delegation from Most Traveled People (MTP), representing 13 countries including the USA, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, Philippines, Poland, Hungary, and others, visited the Lachin district on Friday as part of their trip to Azerbaijan’s Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur regions.

According to AZERTAC's regional correspondent, the travelers arrived in Lachin from Kalbajar.

They observed the ongoing construction works in the city and learned that residents of the Zabukh and Sus villages, along with those in the city of Lachin, have returned to their homes. Specifically, 1,971 people, including 534 families, have resettled in the city of Lachin, 823 people, including 217 families, in Zabukh, and 215 people, including 59 families, in Sus. Comprehensive conditions have been established for these resettled families. The travelers were also briefed on the significant developments and improvements in the district.

Over the past four years, more than 360 international travelers from nearly 50 countries have visited Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur in ten large groups.
