“Azerbaijan’s Shahdag Tourism Center is set to host an international ski mountaineering competition for the first time, on March 9-10. The International Ski Mountaineering Federation (ISMF) included in its calendar a tournament on vertical and sprint races,” Secretary-General of Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation Gunel Badalova said.
She also emphasized that Azerbaijan would submit application to the International Ski Federation (FIS) to host the international ski competitions in slalom, giant slalom and super G Alpine skiing at the Shahdag Tourism Center.
