Azerbaijanis among those who suffered in drone attack in Kyiv

Kyiv (Ukraine) suffered another drone attack last night. There are also Azerbaijanis among those who suffered, as their houses were badly damaged. Fortunately, they were not at home at the time of the attack and therefore there were no casualties. However, in general, there are casualties among the civilian population, Spokesperson for Kyiv City Military Administration Mykhailo Shamanov told the Eastern European bureau of Report.

This is the third attack on the capital of Ukraine in the last six days and the fifth in December, he noted.

“Russia is attacking with Iranian-made Shahed drones. They are targeting infrastructure and residential areas. One of the drones caused destruction in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv. There was a fire on the top three floors of a multi-story residential building, and windows were broken on another three floors.”

Shamanov added that, according to preliminary information, two people received injuries of varying severity, one was hospitalized.

“Parts of the drone fell in the Darnytsia region and caused a fire in a two-story private house. Parts of the drone also fell in the Holosiivskyi district, fortunately, there were no casualties,” he added.
