Turkish Vice President: Turkish-Azerbaijani cooperation is of regional and international significance

The Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye Cevdet Yilmaz has met with the visiting Azerbaijani delegation led by Tahir Budagov, the Deputy Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) and the Head of the Central Office.

 

Hailing the relations between the two friendly and fraternal countries, the Turkish Vice President emphasized that the Turkish-Azerbaijani cooperation is of regional and international significance.

 

Cevdet Yilmaz underlined that relations between the two countries are built on a solid foundation that indicates the unity of our peoples, saying “Our friendship and brotherhood are eternal”.

 

Expressing his gratitude for the warm reception, Tahir Budagov stressed that as a result of the purposeful policies of the leaders of the two countries - the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Azerbaijani-Turkish relations reach the highest level and statehood interests are successfully ensured.

 

Budagov also touched upon the Turkish great moral and political support to Azerbaijan in the 44-day Patriotic War, described it as “an example of friendship and brotherhood”.

 

The YAP Deputy Chairman said that the relations between the ruling parties of the two countries are developing steadily.

 

The parties also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
