Hungary invited to join Caspian Agro 2026

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov met with Hungarian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Tamás Torma, Executive Head of the Representation Office of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Budapest Balázs Hendrich, and Operations Director of the Budapest Drought Prevention Institute László Örloş.

During the meeting, Minister Majnun Mammadov praised Azerbaijan–Hungary relations, including cooperation within the OTS framework, and invited Hungary to participate in Caspian Agro 2026 with a national pavilion. Both sides expressed interest in expanding agricultural cooperation.

The parties discussed prospects for enhancing bilateral cooperation in agriculture, increasing trade turnover, transferring advanced technologies, implementing joint projects in climate, water, and soil management, as well as conducting research and educational exchange programs.

The meeting also featured an extensive exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
