Azerbaijani economy minister meets with Goldman Sachs representative
Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, met with a delegation of Goldman Sachs led by Matt Gibson, Global Head of Client Business, Asset and Wealth Management Division.
The meeting focused on the effective partnership between the company and Azerbaijan.
Minister Jabbarov highlighted Azerbaijan’s favorable business climate, macroeconomic stability, and development priorities aligned with global challenges as a strong foundation for strategic investment.
The minister briefed the Goldman Sachs official on the reforms implemented in Azerbaijan, the country’s economic diversification policy, the development of the non-oil sector, and the digital development agenda.
The meeting also reviewed prospects for cooperation across various sectors of the economy.
