Relations between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Azerbaijan are developing along an upward trajectory, Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, UAE’s Minister of Climate Change and Environment, told AZERTAC.

The minister emphasized that last year the volume of UAE-Azerbaijan non-oil trade increased to $2.4 billion, marking a 43 percent rise. “At the same time, the total volume of investments from the UAE and Azerbaijan is $1 billion,” she noted.

“With its high-tech “smart agriculture” and strong logistics capabilities, the UAE intends to continue cooperation with partners with whom today’s negotiations were initiated,” the minister added.
