Oil prices surge in global markets

Oil prices rose in global markets.

Brent crude on the London Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) climbed by $0.12, reaching $73.70 per barrel. Meanwhile, Light crude on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased by $0.13, settling at $70.23 per barrel.
