Turkish companies carry out $2B projects in Azerbaijan’s liberated lands

Turkish companies have completed projects worth $2 billion in Azerbaijan's territories liberated, Murat Yaman, Chief Commercial Counselor of the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan, said at the presentation conference of the Turkish Trade Exhibition, Report informs.

"Economic and trade relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are developing and encompassing all areas. The trade turnover between our countries is increasing, and our goal is to reach $15 billion in bilateral trade," Yaman stated.

Yaman also highlighted Azerbaijan's strategic position, stating, "Azerbaijan's economy is the gateway to the CIS market."

The Turkish Trade Exhibition will be held at the Istanbul Exhibition Center between November 7-9, 2024. The event aims to develop trade, industry, investment, technology, and services among Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Hungary, and Northern Cyprus, while facilitating the marketing of these services in other parts of the world. The exhibition enjoys state-level support and will feature B2B meetings and conferences.
