The State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has commenced natural gas supplying to Slovenia.
This follows the Memorandum of Understanding signed on July 17 with Geoplin, Slovenia’s largest natural gas trader, to expand cooperation in gas supplies.
With this development, Slovenia becomes the ninth country to receive Azerbaijani gas, joining Türkiye, Georgia, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, and Serbia.
SOCAR and Geoplin aim to strengthen their long-standing energy partnership.
