More than 8,000 tourists from Azerbaijan visited Tashkent in 2023. However, we realize that the current results do not correspond to the potential of the parties. Therefore, we should use the offered opportunities to expand trade and economic cooperation," Tursunov noted.

According to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan amounted to $178.8 million in 2023.
