"Anglo Asian Mining" company of Great Britain, a producer of gold, copper and silver in Azerbaijan, has confirmed that there is significant copper mineralization in the "Kharkhar" field based on the drilling results.
It should be noted that in July 2022, an extensive exploration program covering the central zone of copper mineralization was started in the aforementioned deposit. According to the contract signed on August 21, 1997 between the government of Azerbaijan and Anglo Asian Mining PLC, 6 deposits are planned to be developed. The share of our country in the contract is 51 percent, and the share of the UK company is 49 percent.
It should be noted that "Anglo Asian Mining PLC" currently has 8 contract areas in our republic with a total area of 2,544 square kilometers. The company is engaged in the extraction of precious metals from Gadabay and Gosha contract fields.
