During the "COP28 and the Road Ahead" session at the Davos Economic Forum, an overview was presented of the efforts undertaken to attain Azerbaijan's medium-term objectives in transitioning to green energy, emphasizing our country's sustainable energy potential, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said on X, Report informs.
"We underscored the importance of investing in initiatives focused on a high-quality ecological environment. Additionally, we conveyed our preliminary expectations regarding the contributions that effective investment strategies and supportive partnerships aimed at advancing zero carbon emissions will bring to addressing climate change challenges within the framework of COP29, which Azerbaijan is set to host," he said.
