Investment in fixed capital in Azerbaijan amounted to 20,296.6 million manats ($11.9 billion) in 2023, marking a 9.8% growth from a year earlier, Report informs, referring to the State Statistical Committee.
Over the past year, investments in the oil-and-gas sector increased by 10.9%, and in the non-oil-and-gas sector surged by 9.3%.
During the reporting period, 12,485.2 million manats ($7.34 billion), or 61.5%, were made in production, 6,840 million manats ($4.02 billion), or 33.7%, in services, and 971.4 million manats ($571.61 million), or 4.8%, in housing construction.
Domestic funds constituted 16,411.5 million manats ($9.66 billion, or 80.9%) of the funds directed to fixed capital, and construction and installation work amounted to 14,559.6 million manats ($8.57 billion, or 71.7%).
