Jeyhun Bayramov: Azerbaijan invested $20B in Türkiye's economy

"At the meetings held today, we exchanged views on bilateral relations as well as our participation in international platforms," the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, told a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan in Baku on December 14, Report informs.

According to him, tripartite meetings are planned to be held in the coming months: "During the first 10 months of 2023, our trade turnover has reached $7 billion. Azerbaijan has invested $20 billion in the Turkish economy, and Türkiye has invested $15 billion in Azerbaijan. We believe that we can achieve even greater indicators in a number of areas," the minister stressed.

Bayramov said that the activity of Turkish companies in the liberated areas was also a special topic of discussion at the meeting: "We also discussed the issue of landmines."
