Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov has met with Executive secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) Tatiana Molcean on the sidelines of the SPECA (UN Special Program for the Economies of Central Asian Countries) Week held in Baku.

During the meeting, the sides noted the close cooperation between Azerbaijan and UNECE in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as within the SPECA program.

They sides hailed the importance of the SPECA Week held in Baku in terms of development of relations between Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries in economic and trade, digitalization of transport infrastructure, transition to a "green" economy, energy and other spheres.
