"I love Shaki. The people here are extremely friendly. Maybe someday I will return to this club," said Webster Simeus, an American basketball player of Haitian descent, who played for Sheki BK last season.
"I knew that Azerbaijan is a peaceful country and when I came, I saw it with my own eyes. Many players had also recommended that I come here. However, after the season ended, I had to leave the club because my one-year contract expired.”
Simeus said that living in Sheki posed no issues for him. “I didn't have much trouble here."
