Farid Gayibov, Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports, has met with visiting Didier Budimbu Ntubuanga, Minister of Sports and Leisure of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
During the meeting, the two discussed prospects for sports cooperation between the two countries. Didier Budimbu noted that during his stay in Azerbaijan, the Congolese delegation toured numerous sporting facilities in Azerbaijan and got acquainted with their activities. He commended activities of the modern sports infrastructures in Baku.
The ministers then signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the fields of sports between the two countries.
