Azerbaijani female gymnasts brought home two gold and one silver medal from the “Alma Cup” international tournament held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
In the senior’s event, Zahra Jafarova secured the gold medal by outperforming her competitors in the all-around program, which included exercises with the hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon.
Young gymnasts Sofia Mammadova and Ayan Sadygova claimed gold and silver medals, respectively.
Additionally, Sofia Mammadova was awarded the title of “Miss Grace” at the tournament.
