Azerbaijani chess players seized a glory at the European Universities Chess Championship 2024, held as part of the European Universities Games taking place from July 12-24 in Debrecen-Miskolc, Hungary.
The team consisting of Vugar Manafov and Elmar Atakishiyev triumphed in the rapid open team tournament, rolling past 17 teams with 15 points after 9 rounds.
