Fenerbahce secured a comfortable 3-0 win over Union Saint-Gilloise on Thursday in the UEFA Europa Conference League round of 16 first leg, according to Anadolu Agency.

Fenerbahce's Michy Batshuayi broke the deadlock with a close-range finish in the 20th minute at RSC Anderlecht Stadium in Belgium.

Jayden Oosterwolde doubled the lead for Fenerbahce in the 84th minute, while Dusan Tadic scored a stoppage-time penalty and the match ended 3-0 in favor of the Turkish club.

The second leg will be played at Fenerbahce Sukru Saracoglu Sports Complex on March 14.

In another Conference League match, Ajax were held to a goalless draw with Aston Villa at Johan Cruijff ArenA.

Both teams were down to 10 men as Ajax's Tristan Gooijer and Aston Villa's Ezri Konsa received red cards.
