An officer of the Combined Arms Army Vahid Mammadov spoke before the start of the volleyball championship held at the Nakhchivan Olympic Sports Complex. He noted the importance of sports competitions organized for the purpose of achieving mass sports among military personnel, identifying strong athletes and teams, and wished success to the participants.
130 athletes from 13 teams fought in the championship organized under the motto "Serving to the country, people and state is the essence of our life".
The competitions held under the Olympic rules were managed by the referees of the Volleyball Federation of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
According to the final results of the 6-day competition, the first and third places were taken by motor shooters, and the second place by special forces.
At the end of the volleyball championship, the winning teams were awarded.
