Special correspondent of the Report News Agency and Baku TV for Eastern Europe Mubariz Aslanov has been awarded the Cross of Honor medal of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Report informs.
The corresponding order was signed by the country’s Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov.
The Azerbaijani journalist was awarded for objective, professional coverage of the activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the heroism of Ukrainian military personnel, exemplary performance of official duties, active and comprehensive coverage of military operations since the beginning of Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine.
The medal was presented by Secretary of State of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense Liudmyla Drahan. She expressed special gratitude to the Report News Agency and Baku TV.
Mubariz Aslanov is the first foreign journalist to receive this award in Ukraine.
