Around 9:30 pm on October 30, the Absheron District Prosecutor's Office received information about a person dying from stabbing and another person receiving stabbing injuries.
The district prosecutor's office has told AZERTAC that reasonable suspicion was established during the preliminary investigation that Asad Shabbir Ahmad, a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, inflicted various injuries on one of his compatriots and killed another with a knife during a personal dispute in one of the apartments located in Masazir settlement of Absheron district.
A criminal case has been initiated at the Absheron District Prosecutor's Office under articles 120.1 (intentional murder) and 29, 120.2.7 (attempt to intentionally kill two persons) of the Criminal Code. Asad Shabbir Ahmad, who is suspected of committing the crime, has been arrested.
