Chairman of the Board of Small and Medium Business Development Agency of Azerbaijan (KOBIA) Orkhan Mammadov has met with Chief Executive officer of Halal Development Corporation of Malaysia Hairol Ariffein Sahari, Head of Islamic Development Bank Center of Excellence in Kuala Lumpur Samer Elesawi and Secretary General of the Halal Accreditation Agency of Türkiye Suleyman Beşli, who are on a visit to the country.
The meeting focused on the halal industry in Azerbaijan, exchange of experience in this field and possible cooperation opportunities within the framework of the Halal Business and Tourism Forum to be organized by KOBIA in Baku in 2024.
