Professors of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy, as well as colonels from the Azerbaijan National Defense University, visited Baku Engineering University (BEU).
BEU Rector Yagub Piriyev highlighted the university’s history, educational programs, technological specialties, areas of international cooperation, and scientific projects.
The meeting also featured a project implemented jointly by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the Naval Academy, the Azerbaijan National Defense University, and BEU employees within the framework of the NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme.
The parties also reviewed prospects for cooperation between BEU and Bulgarian institutions in the fields of education and scientific research.
Bulgarian representatives hailed BEU’s modern educational infrastructure and international relations, expressing their interest in future cooperation.
