Azerbaijani Language and Culture Center launched in Hungary

The opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani Language and Culture Center was held at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Hungary.

According to Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL), the Azerbaijani Language and Culture Center will contribute to the partnership relations between the two countries in the scientific, cultural, political, and educational fields.

Addressing the event, Borhy László, Rector of Eötvös Loránd University, emphasized that the newly opened Center would play a special role in the development of relations with AUL. He underlined that the new projects and teacher-student exchange programs will be implemented within the framework of establishing mutual relations with the Hungarian Language and Culture Center operating at AUL.

Jala Garibova, AUL`s Vice-Rector for International Relations, noted that Azerbaijan University of Languages expands its international relations even more and the centers opened abroad take a special place in this regard.

“The opening of the Center is a milestone event. The Azerbaijani culture enjoys wide prospects for studying language and conducting scientifically rigorous studies here,” Garibova underlined.

Tahir Taghizadeh, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Hungary, noted that the partnership between AUL and Elte University would provide impetus to the development of scientific and cultural relations between the two countries.
