Israeli scholar receives Humboldt Prize for breakthroughs in Psychotherapy research

Prof. Sigal Zalka-Manu of the University of Haifa has been awarded the prestigious Humboldt Research Prize for her contributions to improving the effectiveness of mental health care, according to TPS-IL. The prize is granted by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, a German organization that promotes international academic cooperation by supporting outstanding researchers worldwide through research funding and scientific awards.

Zalka-Manu, head of the Psychotherapy Laboratory at the University of Haifa’s School of Psychological Sciences, is a leading researcher in clinical psychology and personalized psychotherapy.
