In Pakistan, security forces killed 16 terrorists and injured many others who had attacked a passenger train in the Dhadar area of Bolan Pass in Balochistan and were holding passengers hostage.

According to security sources, the terrorists split into small groups during the security forces' operation. Radio Pakistan reported that security forces have so far rescued 104 hostages held by the terrorists. Those rescued include 58 men, 31 women, and 15 children.

Efforts are now focused on ensuring the safe release of the remaining passengers, as security forces continue to tighten their grip around the terrorists. The terrorists are using innocent people as human shields, and suicide bombers wearing explosive vests have been placed near some hostages.

Injured passengers have been shifted to nearby hospitals, while additional security squads have joined the operation in the area. The forces have vowed to continue the operation until the last terrorist is eliminated.

The terrorist attack on the train occurred in Balochistan province on Tuesday. The rescue operation is still ongoing.
